Ingredients:
- Malvani vade mix
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder
- Coriander-cumin powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- Water as required
- Oil for deep frying
- Small plastic sheet for rolling out the dough
Process:
- In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients. Meanwhile, in a deep frying pan, add oil and allow it to heat.
- Mix the ingredients well and then a 1 tbsp of hot oil and mix it again carefully.
- Add water little by little to form stiff dough. Add a little regular oil and knead again.
- Grease your hands with some oil.
- On a little wet plastic sheet, take a small portion of the dough and pat it evenly to form a slightly thick circle.
- Put the vada (prepared circle) in the oil and let it cook from both sides till it turns light brown in colour.
Serve the malvani vada with chicken gravy or any usal of your choice.
