Kolhapuri Zhunka (Dry)

Ingredients-

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic-chilli-coriander paste
  • 1 tbsp MAHA KOLHAPUR Masala
  • 2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds, cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp asafoetida,
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 medium, finely chopped onions
  • 8-10 curry leaves and freshly chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt as required
  • Water- about 1 cup

Process-

  • In a bowl mix 1 cup gram flour and 1 cup water. Add salt to it and, mix it until no lumps are formed.
  • In a pan, heat oil, add in mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and turmeric powder and curry leaves.
  • Add finely chopped onion and cook until it turns slightly brown.
  • Add out gram flour mixture and MAHA KOLHAPUR masala and mix it well.
  • Cover it with a lid and cook it for about 15-20 mins on low flame.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatti or bhakri.
